Owner & Founder Bill R. Hatley began to notice a rapidly expanding community in Chilton County early in his career. He initially purchased Clanton Health Center Nursing Home in 1978. A few years later, Mr. Hatley purchased the county owned Clanton Health Care South Nursing Home in 1980 and began moving towards his dream. His dream was to combine both facilities and their staff to create one state of the art facility and to provide the most sophisticated long term care to the surrounding community.
Mr. Hatley accomplished his goal upon the completion and occupation of the newly built facility in 1984. Mr. Hatley seized an opportunity in 2005 to expand and add eighty beds to the 121 beds of the original facility. Those eighty beds added married couple’s rooms, private rooms, and additional semi-private rooms. Upon completion of the addition, Mr. Hatley dedicated a wing to Alzheimer’s and Dementia Patients. The Dementia unit offers additional security, a specialized activity staff, and an outside activity area.
